نعى مجلس الوزراء اليمني، اليوم الثلاثاء، وزير الاتصالات وتقنية المعلومات الدكتور نجيب منصور العوج الذي وافته المنية إثر وعكة صحية مفاجئة.
واعتبر بيان صادر عن المجلس هذا الرحيل المفاجئ خسارة فادحة لأحد أبناء الوطن المخلصين، الذي عمل بإخلاص واجتهاد وقدم نموذجا فريدا في الوطنية وخدمة المجتمع من خلال جميع المناصب التي تقلدها، فضلا عن والصفات الحميدة التي ميزته، كما شهد بذلك كل من عاش معه. .
وأعرب المجلس عن تقدير اليمن وشعبه للدور الوطني الكبير الذي ساهم فيه الدكتور نجيب العوج خلال سنوات عمله الطويلة في العمل الحكومي، والإسهامات الكبيرة التي قدمها الراحل العظيم في سبيل وطنه، كما كان نموذجاً في العطاء والكرم، فلم يتأخر يوماً واحداً عن تلبية نداء الوطن، ولم يبخل ساعة بعلمه أو دعمه. جهده وتفانيه في تقديم خبراته الواسعة، خاصة في المجالين الاقتصادي والخدمي، لصالح الوطن.
