الأمم المتحدة: عدد النازحين فى السودان تخطى سبعة ملايين شخص
قالت الأمم المتحدة إن الحرب التي اندلعت في السودان أدت إلى نزوح 7.1 مليون شخص، واصفة إياها بـ”أكبر أزمة نزوح في العالم”.
وقال المتحدث باسم الأمين العام للأمم المتحدة ستيفان دوجاريك، إن “المعارك الأخيرة في وسط البلاد أجبرت 300 ألف شخص على الفرار”.
وأوضح: أن “هذه العمليات الجديدة ترفع عدد النازحين إلى 7.1 مليون، بينهم 1.5 مليون لجأوا إلى دول مجاورة”.
أعلنت منظمة الأمم المتحدة للطفولة (يونيسيف)، أن أكثر من 150 ألف طفل نزحوا خلال أيام من ولاية الجزيرة في السودان، وانقطعت عنهم المساعدات الإنسانية العاجلة بسبب تصاعد أعمال العنف هناك.
كما حذر برنامج الغذاء العالمي في وقت سابق من أن خطر نقص الغذاء قد يهدد أكثر من نصف سكان السودان إذا لم تتوقف الحرب بين الجيش وقوات الدعم السريع المستمرة منذ أبريل الماضي.
