رابطة الأندية ترفض تغيير نظام وقرعة كأس الرابطة بعد انسحاب الأهلى
ورفض اتحاد الأندية تغيير شكل كأس الرابطة بعد انسحاب الأهلي المفاجئ من البطولة، حيث سيتم تقسيم الفرق المشاركة في البطولة والتي يبلغ عددها الآن 17 فريقا بعد انسحاب الأهلي، إلى 3 مجموعات، بواقع مجموعتين. المجموعات التي تحتوي كل منها على 6 فرق، بينما المجموعة الثالثة تتكون من 5 فرق. .
ووفقا للمادة 59 من لائحة المسابقة وقواعد وشروط كأس الدوري 2023-2024، في حالة رفض أحد الأندية المشاركة في مسابقة كأس الدوري قبل إجراء قرعة البطولة، سيتم خصم مبلغ مليون جنيه مصري، وهي قيمة مشاركة النادي في بطولة الدوري العام.
أرسل النادي الأهلي خطابًا إلى اتحاد الأندية المحترفة يعتذر فيه عن عدم المشاركة في بطولة كأس الرابطة هذا الموسم. وأوضح الأهلي في رسالته الأسباب الموضوعية وراء الاعتذار، وأهمها تماسك البطولات والمباريات، حيث بدأ الفريق مشواره هذا الموسم بالمشاركة في كأس السوبر الأفريقي بالمملكة. السعودية، ثم الدوري الأفريقي لكرة القدم، والذي يشهد مباريات متتالية كل 72 ساعة داخل وخارج الدولة، يليها بطولة الدوري المحلي، بالتزامن مع المشاركة في دوري أبطال أفريقيا، ثم التوجه إلى المملكة العربية السعودية لتمثيل المنتخب. القارة الأفريقية في كأس العالم للأندية التي تقام الآن. وبعد الانتهاء منها يوم الجمعة المقبل، سيتوجه الفريق مباشرة إلى الإمارات للمشاركة في كأس السوبر المصري بنظامه الجديد لأول مرة. كل هذا التماسك ترك معظم اللاعبين مرهقين بدنيا وذهنيا، فضلا عن إصابات العديد من اللاعبين. ورغم كل ذلك سعى النادي إلى الاستعانة ببعض لاعبي فريق الشباب للمشاركة في كأس الرابطة، لكن حتى ذلك لم يكن ممكنا بسبب مشاركتهم في المشاركة في مختلف المسابقات العمرية وإصابة الكثير منهم خلال البطولة. الفترة الأخيرة.
