أوكرانيا تحتفل بعيد الميلاد فى 25 ديسمبر.. وتعزز استقلالها عن كنيسة روسيا
احتفلت أوكرانيا بعيد الميلاد مساء الأحد، للمرة الأولى في تاريخها، بعد أن سبق أن احتفلت به في 7 يناير من كل عام، متحولة نحو التقويم الغربي، ومخالفا التاريخ الذي تعترف به الكنائس الشرقية.
وتتزامن الخطوة الأوكرانية مع التطورات مع روسيا، في ظل احتفالات الكنيسة الروسية الشرقية بالعيد في 7 يناير/كانون الثاني.
وافق الرئيس الأوكراني فولوديمير زيلينسكي رسميًا على تأجيل موعد احتفالات عيد الميلاد إلى 25 ديسمبر.
ولقرون عديدة، كانت الكنيسة الأرثوذكسية الأوكرانية تحت الإشراف الديني لروسيا، لكنها أعلنت استقلالها عن بطريركية موسكو في عام 2019.
ويعد تغيير موعد عيد الميلاد جزءا من سلسلة من الإجراءات التي اتخذتها أوكرانيا في السنوات الأخيرة للنأي بنفسها عن موسكو.
