روسيا تعلن إخماد حريق نشب بسفينة شحن تعمل بالطاقة النووية
قالت روسيا اليوم الاثنين إن عمال الطوارئ أخمدوا حريقا في سفينة شحن تعمل بالطاقة النووية تعود للحقبة السوفيتية.
وأوضحت الشركة الحكومية المشغلة للسفينة، أنه لم تقع إصابات، ولا يوجد أي تهديد لأمن المفاعل.
وقالت وزارة الطوارئ إن حريقا اندلع، الأحد، في إحدى حجرات السفينة السوفيتية الصنع سيفموربوت، الراسية حاليا في مدينة مورمانسك شمال روسيا.
وأضافت الوزارة أن الحريق امتد في ذروته على مساحة 30 مترا مربعا، وتم إخماده دون وقوع إصابات.
وقالت شركة أتومفلوت المالكة للسفينة في بيان لها: “تم إخماد الحريق بسرعة. ولم تقع إصابات».
وأضافت أنه لا يوجد أي تهديد لأنظمة الدعم الأساسية أو محطة المفاعل.
وتدير الشركة الأسطول الروسي من كاسحات الجليد النووية، وهي وحدة تابعة لشركة روساتوم النووية الحكومية.
منطقة مورمانسك، الواقعة شمال غرب روسيا، تشترك في الحدود مع فنلندا والنرويج، بالإضافة إلى بحر بارنتس والبحر الأبيض.
وقالت روساتوم إن السفينة، التي دخلت الخدمة عام 1988 وخضعت لتطوير واسع النطاق قبل عقد من الزمن، هي سفينة الشحن الروسية الوحيدة التي تعمل بالطاقة النووية لكسر الجليد.
