شكري يلتقي مع نظيره البحريني خلال أعمال مجلس وزراء الخارجية العرب في المنامة

صرَّح السفير أحمد أبو زيد المتحدث الرسمي ومدير إدارة الدبلوماسية العامة بوزارة الخارجية المصرية، بأن السيد سامح شكري التقى مع معالي الدكتور عبد اللطيف بن راشد الزياني وزير خارجية مملكة البحرين، وذلك على هامش مشاركة وزير الخارجية في أعمال مجلس وزراء الخارجية العرب التحضيري للقمة العربية المُنعقِدة في العاصمة البحرينية المنامة.
وذكر المتحدث الرسمي باسم الخارجية، أن الوزير شكري أشاد خلال اللقاء بمستوى التنظيم المتميز الذي تشهده الاجتماعات التحضيرية لأعمال القمة العربية الثلاثة والثلاثين التي تستضيفها مملكة البحرين، وتمنياته للأشقاء في البحرين بوافر التوفيق والنجاح في قيادة أعمال ومخرجات القمة.
هذا، وقد بحث الوزيران أوجه العلاقات التاريخية الراسخة بين جمهورية مصر العربية ومملكة البحرين، حيث أكدا حرص البلدين على الدفع بمسارات التعاون الثنائي قدماً في مختلف المجالات، وتنميتها لما فيه خير ومصلحة الشعبين الشقيقين.
وأضاف السفير أحمد أبو زيد، أن مباحثات الوزيرين تناولت مستجدات الحرب الإسرائيلية ضد قطاع غزة، حيث أكد الوزيران على ضرورة وقف إطلاق النار في غزة، والعمليات العسكرية في مدينة رفح الفلسطينية، فضلاً عن التحذير من خطورة استمرار احتلال إسرائيل للجانب الفلسطيني من معبر رفح، وإغلاقه أمام دخول المساعدات الإنسانية للقطاع.
