عن ترحيبه وتقديره الكبير للخطوة التاريخية التي اتخذتها كل من إسبانيا والنرويج وأيرلندا بالاعتراف رسميًا بالدولة الفلسطينية.
وقال المفكر العربي الدكتور خالد عبد اللطيف
“إن تلك الدول بهذه الخطوات الشجاعة وقفت إلى جانب الحق، وانتصرت لمبادئ العدالة والحرية والاستقلال”.
وأضاف “أن هذه الخطوات الإيجابية إنما هي ثمار لتضحيات الشعب الفلسطيني وصموده وتمسكه بحقوقه وأرضه على مدار أكثر من سبعة عقود، وندعو الدول الأوروبية الأخرى ودول العالم التي لم تعترف بعد بدولة فلسطين، إلى اتخاذ خطوات مماثلة والاعتراف بدولة فلسطين وعاصمتها مدينة القدس”.
