قام متظاهرون في منطقة فزان بجنوب غرب ليبيا بإغلاق حقل الشرارة النفطي، مساء أمس السبت، وذلك ردا على تدهور الأوضاع المعيشية واستبعادهم من برامج التنمية الحكومية.
وبينت تقارير لوسائل إعلام محلية، أن المحتجين احتجزوا العاملين وفرق حراسة المنشأة، مما أدى إلى توقف مؤقت للإنتاج.
وسيؤدي الإغلاق الحالي لحقل الشرارة، الذي ينتج حوالي 315 ألف برميل من النفط يوميا، إلى خسائر اقتصادية كبيرة تقدر يثلث إنتاج ليبيا من النفط يوميا.
ومنذ بداية العام الجاري شهدت ليبيا إغلاق العديد من الحقول النفطية نتيجة للاحتجاجات والأزمات السياسية، ففي يناير 2024، تم إغلاق حقلي الشرارة والفيل النفطيين من قبل سكان الجنوب احتجاجا على انقطاع الوقود وضعف الخدمات العامة.
