عن إدانته بأشد العبارات اقتحام وزير الأمن القومي الإسرائيلي المسجد الأقصى المبارك،
وذلك تحت حماية شرطة الإحتلال الإسرائيلي،
ويعبر
عن رفضه التام لتلك الخطوة الاستفزازية.
ويحذر من تلك التصرفات المتطرفة التي تشكل خرقا فاضحا ومستهجنا للوضع التاريخي
والقانوني القائم في المسجد الأقصى المبارك، وما تمثله تلك الممارسات المرفوضة من استهانة
وتأجيج لمشاعر المسلمين حول العالم، مطالبا إسرائيل بالتقيد بالتزاماتها كدولة قائمة بالاحتلال
. مؤكدا على ضرورة احترام وضعية المسجد الأقصى باعتباره مكان عبادة خالص للمسلمين.
ويشدد رئيس اتحاد الوطن العربي الدولي على ضرورة اضطلاع المجتمع الدولي
وعلى رأسه مجلس الأمن بإجراءات حاسمة تجاه هذه التصرفات ووقف تلك الانتهاكات
التي تمثل رفضا عمليا لفرص التعايش السلمي، مؤكدا على ضرورة التوصل لحل عادل
ودائم وشامل للقضية الفلسطينية يضمن إقامة الدولة الفلسطينية المستقلة على خطوط ٤ يونيو ١٩٦٧
وعاصمتها القدس الشرقية، وبما يحقق حق تقرير المصير للشعب الفلسطيني.
