بدء حملة التطعيم "اليوم" ضد مرض شلل الأطفال بالإسماعيلية
أعلن الدكتور علي حطب وكيل وزارة الصحة بالإسماعيلية، أن وزارة الصحة والسكان ستطلق حملة تطعيم ضد شلل الأطفال عام 2023 داخل محافظة الإسماعيلية للأطفال من عمر يوم واحد إلى 10 سنوات.
وأشار وكيل وزارة الصحة إلى أن مواعيد الجرعة الثانية لحملة التطعيم ضد شلل الأطفال ستكون من اليوم الأحد 1 أكتوبر إلى الأربعاء 4 أكتوبر المقبل لجميع الأطفال المصريين وغير المصريين بمحافظة الإسماعيلية من مصر. من عمر يوم إلى 10 سنوات مجاناً من خلال الفرق الطبية الثابتة في مكاتب الصحة. والوحدات والمراكز الطبية من الساعة الثامنة صباحًا حتى الثامنة مساءً، وكذلك الفرق التي تنتقل من منزل إلى منزل وتنتشر في العديد من الأماكن المختلفة والحيوية في الساحات الكبرى، وبجوار المساجد والكنائس والنوادي.
وأضاف حطاب أنه استعداداً لانطلاق الحملة، تم عقد دورات مكثفة لتدريب الفرق المشاركة في الحملة من “الممرضات وطلبة التمريض ورواد الريف والمشرفين وفرق إشراف المديرية والأقسام الصحية” والفرق الطبية. وتم توزيعها على جميع المدارس والحضانات في المحافظة وفق الخطة الموضوعة والتي تستهدف جميع الأطفال دون سن العاشرة.
وتأتي هذه الحملة في إطار الخطة القومية لبقاء مصر خالية من مرض شلل الأطفال، وهي استمرار للجرعة الأولى التي تمت في أغسطس الماضي، وفي إطار الرصد الدقيق لتطورات الوضع الوبائي للمرض عالميًا وإقليميًا.
جدير بالذكر أن منظمة الصحة العالمية أعلنت خلو مصر من المرض عام 2006، وأن آخر حالة إصابة بمرض شلل الأطفال تم تسجيلها في مصر كانت عام 2004. ورغم ذلك تنفذ وزارة الصحة والسكان حملات قومية سنوية لرفع الحالة المناعية. من الأطفال دون سن العاشرة. سنوات، من أجل الاستمرار في الحفاظ على مصر خالية من المرض ورفع المناعة المجتمعية لدى الأطفال ضد المرض.
