البنتاجون: لن نخصص أموالا لأوكرانيا من بنود أخرى فى الميزانية
أعلن المتحدث باسم البنتاغون باتريك رايدر أن الولايات المتحدة لا تخطط لتخصيص أموال لأوكرانيا من بنود أخرى في ميزانية الدفاع، لكنها تحتفظ بهذا الاحتمال إذا لزم الأمر.
وقال رايدر: “إن إعادة البرمجة (تحويل الأموال من أحد بنود ميزانية الدفاع إلى آخر) هي دائمًا خيار في حالة الحاجة الملحة، ولكن في الوقت الحالي، على حد علمي، لم يتم اتخاذ أي قرار بشأن إعادة البرمجة لدعم أمن أوكرانيا”.
وأضاف أن البنتاغون لا يزال يعتزم العمل مع الكونجرس الأمريكي لتخصيص أموال إضافية لإرسال أسلحة إلى أوكرانيا.
أكد الرئيس الروسي فلاديمير بوتين أنه إذا توقف إمداد أوكرانيا بالأسلحة الغربية غدا، فإنه “سيتبقى لها أسبوع للعيش”.
وأضاف: “إنها (الأسلحة) يتم تنفيذها في الغرب أيضًا. فالولايات المتحدة تنتج 14 ألف قذيفة من عيار 155 شهريًا، وتنفق القوات الأوكرانية ما يصل إلى 5000 يوميًا”.
