لأول مرة.. مقاطعة أورينتال ميندورو بالفلبين تسجل حالات إصابة بحمى الخنازير
أعلن حاكم مقاطعة أورينتال ميندورو الفلبينية، بونز دولور، اليوم الاثنين، عن تسجيل حالات إصابة بحمى الخنازير الأفريقية في المقاطعة لأول مرة.
وقالت دولور -كما نقلت قناة “إيه بي إس-سي بي إن” الفلبينية في نشرتها باللغة الإنجليزية- إنه تم تسجيل حالات إصابة بحمى الخنازير الأفريقية في قريتي “دانجاي” و”باجومبايان” بمنطقة “روكساس”.
كما أمر دولور بإجراء اختبارات في خمس قرى أخرى في منطقة روكساس للكشف عن حالات الإصابة، وكذلك في قرية واحدة في بلدة مانسالاي التي أبلغت عن حالات يشتبه في إصابتها بالمرض نفسه.
يشار إلى أن حمى الخنازير الأفريقية ليست ضارة بالإنسان، ولكنها تؤدي إلى نفوق الخنازير، مما قد يؤدي إلى خسائر مالية للمزارعين. وتعود جذورها إلى أفريقيا قبل أن تنتشر إلى أوروبا وآسيا، مما أدى إلى نفوق مئات الملايين من الخنازير حول العالم.
