كندا تجلى 236 شخصًا من إسرائيل
وأعلنت الحكومة الكندية، الجمعة، أن القوات المسلحة قامت بإجلاء 236 شخصا من إسرائيل.
زارت وزيرة الخارجية ميلاني جولي إسرائيل في وقت سابق اليوم والتقت بنظيرها في البلاد، حسبما ذكرت وزيرة الخارجية الكندية جولي الأحد خلال مؤتمر صحفي عقد اليوم.
وناقشت جولي أيضًا الأزمة الإنسانية المتفاقمة في غزة، والتقت بالكنديين الذين استقلوا رحلات عسكرية كندية من إسرائيل إلى أثينا باليونان. غادرت جولي إسرائيل وتوجهت إلى عمان، الأردن.
ويوجد حاليا أكثر من 6500 كندي في إسرائيل مسجلين لدى وزارة الخارجية الكندية، و485 كنديا مسجلين في الضفة الغربية وقطاع غزة.
وقال الأحد إن وزارة الخارجية الكندية تساعد حاليا حوالي 2200 كندي، من بينهم 1300 في غزة و150 في الضفة الغربية.
وأضافت أنه لا يزال هناك 600 كندي مكانهم غير واضح، وأن اللجنة الاستشارية الحكومية تتواصل معهم، وتواصل الحكومة متابعة حالات أربعة كنديين مفقودين.
