الرئيس السيسي يجتمع مع الفريق أسامة ربيع بشأن حركة الملاحة بقناة السويس
صرح المتحدث الرسمي باسم رئاسة الجمهورية أن الرئيس عبد الفتاح السيسي أجتمع اليوم مع الفريق أسامة ربيع رئيس هيئة قناة السويس.اطلع خلاله على بيان حركة الملاحة بقناة السويس للعام المالي 2022/2023، الذي أظهر زيادة أعداد السفن المارّة بالقناة بنسبة 17.6%، مقارنة بالعام المالي السابق، لتصل إلى حوالي 26 ألف سفينة، وزيادة الإيرادات الكلية للقناة من 7 مليار دولار في العام المالي السابق، بنسبة 34.7%، لتصل إلى 9.4 مليار دولار في العام المالي المنصرم، ومن المتوقع أن تصل الإيرادات الكلية بانتهاء العام الميلادي الجاري إلى 10.3 مليار دولار.
وقد شهد الاجتماع أيضاً استعراض محاور ومشروعات تطوير القطاع الجنوبي للمجرى الملاحي لقناة السويس، بالإضافة إلى جهود الهيئة لتطوير وتحديث أسطولها البحري وما يضمه من قاطرات وكراكات حفر، والتي تقوم بدور أساسي في تأمين المجرى الملاحي ومعاونة السفن العابرة للقناة.
وذكر المتحدث الرسمي أن الرئيس وجه بمواصلة العمل المكثف لتنفيذ مشروعات الهيئة، في إطار استراتيجية تطوير المجرى الملاحي لقناة السويس ومرافقها، ورفع كفاءة بنيتها التحتية، وذلك بهدف تعظيم قدرات القناة، وتعزيز تنافسيتها والمكانة المتفردة لها على مستوى حركة الملاحة والتجارة العالمية، بما يدعم جهود التنمية الشاملة في مصر، التي تهدف لبناء دولة متقدمة وقوية في مختلف المجالات، وتحسين مستوى معيشة المواطنين.
