تلقى الرئيس عبد الفتاح السيسي اتصالا هاتفيا من جاستن ترودو رئيس وزراء كندا، لبحث الأوضاع الراهنة في المنطقة وتطورات التصعيد العسكري المستمر في قطاع غزة، والجهود التي تبذلها مصر سواء على الصعيد السياسي. إما المسار لاحتواء الأزمة ومنع توسعها ونزع فتيل العنف، أو المسار الإنساني. لتسهيل إيصال المساعدات الإنسانية إلى أهالي قطاع غزة، في ظل تدهور الأوضاع الإنسانية في القطاع.
