واشنطن تؤكد قدرتها على توفير المساعدة العسكرية لإسرائيل وأوكرانيا
قالت وزيرة الخزانة الأميركية جانيت يلين، اليوم الاثنين، إن الولايات المتحدة تستطيع “بالتأكيد” تقديم مساعدة عسكرية لإسرائيل في حربها ضد حماس، ولأوكرانيا في حربها ضد روسيا.
وأضافت يلين -في مقابلة نقلتها صحيفة “ذا هيل” الأمريكية- “بإمكان أمريكا بالتأكيد أن تقف إلى جانب إسرائيل وتدعم احتياجات إسرائيل العسكرية، تماما كما نستطيع ويجب علينا أن ندعم أوكرانيا في صراعها ضد روسيا”.
وأكدت يلين دعم الولايات المتحدة لإسرائيل، بينما حثت على توخي الحذر فيما يتعلق بمقتل المدنيين في قطاع غزة.
وقالت يلين: “لقد أوضحت أمريكا أيضًا لإسرائيل أننا نعمل بشكل وثيق جدًا مع الإسرائيليين، وأن لهم الحق في الدفاع عن أنفسهم، لكن من المهم محاولة إنقاذ حياة المدنيين الأبرياء إلى أقصى حد ممكن”. .
