استقبل مطار العريش الدولي، اليوم الأربعاء، طائرة من فنزويلا تحمل مساعدات لغزة، حسبما ذكرت قناة القاهرة الإخبارية.
دعا الأمين العام للأمم المتحدة أنطونيو غوتيريش، الأربعاء، إلى وقف فوري لإطلاق النار في قطاع غزة، بعد الغارة التي استهدفت المستشفى المعمداني الوطني، والتي أسفرت عن مقتل مئات الفلسطينيين.
وفي كلمة ألقاها في بكين خلال منتدى الحزام والطريق، قال غوتيريش: “أدعو إلى وقف فوري لإطلاق النار لأسباب إنسانية لتخفيف المعاناة الإنسانية الرهيبة التي نشهدها”.
وأعرب الأمين العام للأمم المتحدة عن “فزعه” من مقتل المئات في الغارة التي استهدفت المستشفى في غزة، قائلا إن “هجمات حماس لا يمكن أن تبرر العقاب الجماعي للشعب الفلسطيني”.
ودعا إسرائيل إلى “السماح الفوري بوصول المساعدات الإنسانية دون قيود لتلبية الاحتياجات الأساسية لسكان غزة، وغالبيتهم العظمى من النساء والأطفال”.
