محافظة الإسكندرية تنظم برنامجا لطلاب المدارس للحد من المخاطر الطبيعية
نظمت محافظة الإسكندرية، بالتنسيق مع لجنة اللجنة الأولمبية الدولية باليونسكو والمعهد القومي لعلوم المحيطات ومصايد الأسماك ومديرية تعليم الإسكندرية، سلسلة من الحملات التوعوية التي تجوب المدارس لتدريب الطلاب على خطة الإخلاء في حالة حدوث تسونامي .
يأتي ذلك في إطار اهتمام محافظة الإسكندرية برئاسة اللواء محمد الشريف بالتوعية للحد من المخاطر الطبيعية التي تهدد السواحل المصرية.
وبدأ التدريب اليوم بمدرسة سان مرقس التابعة للإدارة التعليمية المركزية، نظراً لقربها من الساحل بمنطقة الشاطبي. وتم تدريب الطلاب على خطة الإخلاء في حالة تعرض المدرسة لأمواج تسونامي، كما تم تنفيذ نموذج محاكاة لتدريب الطلاب على أماكن الخروج، بالإضافة إلى ندوة لتعريف الطلاب بأمواج تسونامي وكيفية التعامل معها ذلك في حالة حدوث تسونامي. وقد شارك في التدريب إدارة الأزمات والكوارث بالمحافظة ووحدة الإسعاف وكافة الجهات المعنية.
شهد التدريب؛ الدكتورة عبير السحارتي نائب رئيس المعهد الوطني لعلوم المحيطات والمصايد، الدكتورة سوزان الغرباوي نائب رئيس أفريقيا للجنة الدولية الحكومية لعلوم المحيطات في اليونسكو، المهندسة نيفين الليثي مسؤولة المناخ ملف التغيير بالمحافظة، وجيه حنا الياس مدير مدرسة القديس مرقس، ووليد مرسي مدير إدارة الأزمات والكوارث بالمحافظة.
ومن الجدير بالذكر أن: 5 نوفمبر هو اليوم العالمي للتوعية بالتسونامي، والذي اعتمدته الجمعية العامة للأمم المتحدة. الغرض من هذا اليوم هو زيادة وعي المجتمع بأهمية الاستعداد للحد من مخاطر التسونامي وتعزيز استعداد المجتمع.
