بوليتيكو: البيت الأبيض يشعر بالقلق من تأخر تصويت الكونجرس على دعم كييف
ذكرت صحيفة بوليتيكو نقلا عن مصادر أن إدارة الرئيس الأمريكي جو بايدن تشعر بالقلق من تصرفات رئيس مجلس النواب مايك جونسون بسبب تأخر طرح حزمة الدعم لأوكرانيا للمناقشة والتصويت.
وقالت الصحيفة: إن “ديناميكيات الجمهوريين في مجلس النواب تثير قلق الجناح الغربي (البيت الأبيض). وأشار رئيس مجلس النواب مايك جونسون إلى أنه سيطرح أوكرانيا للتصويت في مرحلة ما، لكن البيت الأبيض لا يزال لا يفهم السياسة الجديدة للزعيم الجمهوري ونهجه في المفاوضات.
وأشارت إلى أن الديمقراطيين منزعجون من تصرفات جونسون، حيث إن مسألة تمويل أوكرانيا وصلت بالفعل إلى “نقطة الأزمة”.
ويأمل الديمقراطيون أنه بعد العطلة التشريعية الحالية وعيد الشكر، سيعود مجلس النواب لمناقشة طلب بايدن للحصول على مساعدة شاملة لأوكرانيا وإسرائيل وتايوان وأهداف الأمن القومي الأخرى.
وبعد العودة إلى الكابيتول، لن يكون لدى الجمهوريين سوى نحو ثلاثة أسابيع قبل عطلة عيد الميلاد، ولا توجد ثقة أنه خلال هذا الوقت سيكون لدى الجمهوريين الذين يسيطرون على مجلس النواب وجونسون الوقت الكافي لطرح القضية للمناقشة وتمريرها.
