الخارجية الباكستانية: تقدمنا بطلب رسمى للانضمام إلى مجموعة "بريكس"
أعلن المتحدث باسم وزارة الخارجية الباكستانية ممتاز زهرة بلوش، أن إسلام آباد تقدمت بطلب رسمي للانضمام إلى مجموعة البريكس، بعد الاطلاع على نتائج القمة الأخيرة للمجموعة في جوهانسبرغ.
وقال بالوش: “أستطيع أن أؤكد أن باكستان تقدمت بطلب رسمي للانضمام إلى مجموعة البريكس، التي نعتقد أنها مجموعة مهمة من الدول النامية”. ووفقا لها، تحتفظ إسلام آباد بعلاقات ودية مع معظم الدول الأعضاء في المجموعة ومع الدول التي تمت دعوتها مؤخرا.
وأضاف: “نعتقد أنه من خلال الانضمام إلى البريكس، يمكن لباكستان أن تلعب دورًا مهمًا في تعزيز التعاون الدولي وإحياء التعددية الشاملة”.
وفي مقابلة مع وكالة تاس نشرت في 22 تشرين الثاني/نوفمبر، قال سفير باكستان الجديد لدى روسيا، محمد خالد جمالي، إن إسلام آباد تقدمت بطلب للانضمام إلى البريكس في عام 2024 وتعتمد على مساعدة روسيا في مسألة انضمام الجمهورية إلى المجموعة.
أكد نائب أمين مجلس الأمن الروسي، ألكسندر فينيديكتوف، أن الممثلين الغربيين يحاولون منع توسع مجموعة البريكس بالرشوة والتهديدات، لكنهم لن ينجحوا.
وكانت مجموعة البريكس قد اتفقت في اجتماعها الأخير في أغسطس الماضي بجنوب أفريقيا على ضم 6 دول جديدة هي: الأرجنتين ومصر وإيران والسعودية والإمارات وإثيوبيا، حيث ستكون عضوية هذه الدول سارية اعتبارا من بداية العام الجديد. 2024.
