ينظم غدا قسم علم النبات والأحياء الدقيقة بكلية العلوم جامعة سوهاج بالتعاون مع جمعية النبات المصرية فعاليات المؤتمر الدولي العاشر لعلوم النبات والأحياء الدقيقة وذلك في تمام الساعة العاشرة صباحا الساعة العاشرة صباحا. مركز المؤتمرات الدولي بالحرم الجامعي الجديد.
وقال رئيس الجامعة الدكتور حسن النعماني إن المؤتمر يهدف إلى تشجيع إجراء البحوث التطبيقية مما يساهم في إيجاد حلول لمختلف المشاكل البيئية والصناعية، بالإضافة إلى تبادل الخبرات والآراء بين العلماء والباحثين في مختلف المجالات. الجامعات المصرية، وأيضا تعزيز التعاون بين الجامعات ومراكز البحوث ومؤسسات المجتمع المدني، بالتفصيل. .
وقال الدكتور حازم المشنب عميد الكلية إن المؤتمر سيناقش عددا من المواضيع منها المعالجة البيولوجية للتلوث البيئي، ودور النباتات والكائنات الحية الدقيقة في إعادة تدوير النفايات وإنتاج الطاقة، والتكنولوجيا الحيوية النباتية والميكروبية في ظل ظروف الإجهاد البيئي، والبيولوجيا الجزيئية للنباتات والكائنات الحية.
وأشار الدكتور صباح صابر محمد المقرر العام للمؤتمر، إلى أن الدكتور سلامة أبو اليزيد عوف، رئيس مجلس إدارة المجلة المصرية للنباتات، سيلقي محاضرة في المؤتمر بعنوان “الطريق إلى تعزيز الثقافة المحلية” للمجلات العالمية”، ويستمر المؤتمر لمدة يومين.
