وزارة الصحة: فحص الأمراض الوراثية بالحضانات للأطفال حديثى الميلاد
قالت وزارة الصحة والسكان إنه يتم فحص الأمراض الوراثية بالحضانات ضمن مبادرة رئيس الجمهورية للكشف المبكر عن الأمراض الوراثية عند الأطفال حديثي الولادة.
من جانبها قالت الدكتورة هالة العربي منسق مبادرة الكشف المبكر عن الأمراض الوراثية أنه تم تخصيص 42 مركزا لعلاج الأمراض الوراثية عند الأطفال حديثي الولادة بالتعاون مع المجلس الأعلى للمستشفيات الجامعية بوزارة التعليم العالي. والبحث العلمي، ويتم التوسع في تلك المراكز تباعا لتشمل جميع محافظات الجمهورية، موضحة أن هذه المراكز تقدم خدمات العلاج والمتابعة الدورية “مجانا” للأطفال الذين يعانون من أي أمراض وراثية، لمساعدتهم على ممارسة حياتهم بشكل طبيعي بالإضافة إلى تقديم خدمات الدعم والإرشاد للوالدين، لتقليل احتمالية إنجاب أطفال مصابين بأي من الأمراض الوراثية.
وأشارت الدكتورة هالة العربي إلى أن المراكز البالغ عددها 42 موزعة على محافظات الجمهورية، وتشمل (مركز المحكمة الطبي، مركز روض الفرج الطبي، مركز عين حلوان الطبي، مركز مصر القديمة الطبي، عيادة الوراثة بالدمرداش). مستشفى الأطفال، عيادة التغذية الكيتونية بالدمرداش، عيادة الجهاز الهضمي بمستشفى الدمرداش للأطفال، عيادة الجهاز الهضمي والكبد بمستشفى أبو الريش الياباني، عيادة التغذية الكيتونية بمستشفى أبو الريش (محافظة القاهرة)، و (عيادة الاستشارة الوراثية بمستشفى عيون الأطفال، مركز بمستشفى الطلاب، المركز السريري للوراثة بمستشفى سموحة، عيادة النظام الغذائي الكيتوني بمستشفى سموحة، عيادة الأمراض الاستقلابية، مستشفى سموحة، محافظة الإسكندرية.
