عضو الجالية المصرية في بريطانيا: الإقبال على الانتخابات فاق كل التوقعات
قال مصطفى رجب، عضو الجالية المصرية في بريطانيا، إن الإقبال الكبير على التصويت في الانتخابات الرئاسية يدل على اهتمام المواطنين وحرصهم الكبير على استخدام حقوقهم السياسية رغم البرد الشديد الذي تشهده بريطانيا.
وأضاف خلال مداخلة في برنامج “التاسعة” المذاع على القناة الأولى المصرية: “رغم البرد القارس، كان هناك إقبال غير متوقع في اليوم الأول، والجمعة يوم عمل في بريطانيا، والعائلات والناس من كل الفئات وكانت العصور حاضرة، وكان المشهد جميلًا جدًا”. .
وقال: “الذين شاركوا في الانتخابات اليوم اجتمعوا بعد التصويت وهتفوا لمصر، وتعرفوا على بعضهم البعض بعد أن صوتوا”.
وتابع: “كل واحد من المتطوعين قام بعمله على أكمل وجه، وكانوا يعرفون وظيفته بعناية شديدة، وقاموا بمساعدة الأشخاص ذوي الاحتياجات الخاصة الذين يحتاجون إلى المساعدة وقاموا بتوزيع بعض المشروبات على الناس”.
