إسرائيل توافق على فتح معبر كرم أبو سالم لفحص وتفتيش المساعدات الإنسانيةإلى غزة

صرح مسؤول أميركي كبير لوكالة رويترز، ، إن إسرائيل وافقت، بناء على طلب الولايات المتحدة، على فتح معبر كرم أبو سالم فقط لفحص وتفتيش المساعدات الإنسانية، التي يتم تسليمها إلى غزة عبر معبر رفح.
وتبحث واشنطن مع الإسرائيليين منذ أسابيع إمكانية فتح معبر كرم أبو سالم لتسريع عملية تفتيش شاحنات المساعدات.
ولم يذكر المسؤول الأميركي إطارا زمنيا بشأن موعد فتح المعبر.
وكان مراسل “سكاي نيوز عربية” نقل عن مصادر مصرية، الخميس، قولها إن هناك ترتيبات لتشغيل معبر كرم أبو سالم خلال الأيام المقبلة.
وقالت المصادر إن معبر كرم أبو سالم سيعمل بنفس آليات عمل منفذ العوجة.
كما كشف مارتن غريفيث، وكيل الأمين العام للأمم المتحدة للشؤون الإنسانية منسق الإغاثة في حالات الطوارئ، الخميس، أن هناك مؤشرات تدعو للتفاؤل بشأن إمكانية فتح المعبر “قريبا”.
وتابع: “نطالب منذ مدة بفتح كرم أبو سالم، ليس كبوابة للسماح للشاحنات بالمرور عبر رفح ومن ثم إلى غزة فحسب، بل لتتوجه مباشرة عبر كرم أبو سالم إلى الأجزاء الشمالية من غزة أو حيث تعد الاحتياجات هي الأكبر”.
ويعد معبر رفح الحدودي مع مصر المنفذ الوحيد لدخول المساعدات إلى قطاع غزة المحاصر، علما أنه مخصص بشكل أساسي لحركة الأفراد لا البضائع.
