اليمن والأمم المتحدة يبحثان تطورات الأوضاع وجهود إحياء مسار السلام
بحث رئيس المجلس القيادي الرئاسي اليمني الدكتور رشاد محمد العليمي، اليوم الثلاثاء، مع المبعوث الخاص للأمم المتحدة هانز جروندبرج، تطورات الوضع اليمني، بما في ذلك الجهود الدولية الرامية إلى البناء على جهود السعودية والإمارات. سلطنة عمان، للتوصل إلى اتفاق لوقف شامل لإطلاق النار وتخفيف معاناة الشعب اليمني. – إحياء عملية السلام وفق مرجعياتها الوطنية والإقليمية والدولية.
واطلع المبعوث الأممي العليمي على اتصالاته الأخيرة لاستئناف العملية السياسية اليمنية الشاملة برعاية الأمم المتحدة، بحسب ما نقلت وكالة الأنباء اليمنية (سبأ نت).
وأكد العليمي انفتاح المجلس والحكومة على كافة المبادرات والمساعي الطيبة لتخفيف معاناة الشعب اليمني وتحقيق تطلعاته في استعادة مؤسسات الدولة وأمنها واستقرارها وتنميتها، منوهاً بدعم المجلس والحكومة. لجهود الأمم المتحدة ومبعوثها الخاص، والحرص على تقديم كافة التسهيلات للقيام بمهامه ومسؤولياته التي تشملها قرارات الشرعية الدولية على وجه الخصوص. القرار 2216.
ودعا رئيس المجلس القيادي الرئاسي اليمني المجتمع الدولي إلى ممارسة أقصى الضغوط على مليشيات الحوثي ودفعها نحو الانخراط الجاد في جهود السلام الجارية والتي تحرص فيها الحكومة الشرعية على توسيع نطاق المنافع الإنسانية للمواطنين.
