ارتفعت حصيلة ضحايا الزلزال المدمر الذي ضرب شمال غربي الصين مؤخرا إلى 135 شخصا ونحو ألف جريح.
وأفاد موقع شاين نيوز الإخباري الصيني، الخميس، أن فرق الإنقاذ تواصل البحث عن الضحايا الذين دفنوا تحت أطنان من الأنقاض في مقاطعة تشينغهاي شمال غربي البلاد، بينما قال قسم الطوارئ في مقاطعة تشينغهاي إن 12 آخرين ما زالوا في عداد المفقودين.
وتعرضت المنطقة لهزات ارتدادية عقب الزلزال العنيف الذي ضرب شمال غربي الصين الثلاثاء، بقوة 6.2 درجة على مقياس ريختر.
وألحق الزلزال أضرارا بالطرق وخطوط الكهرباء والمياه، ودمر أكثر من 150 ألف منزل، وتسبب في انهيارات أرضية وطينية.
من جانبها، قالت وزارة إدارة الطوارئ الصينية، إنه تم تخصيص المزيد من إمدادات الإغاثة لمقاطعتي قانسو وتشينغهاي شمال غربي الصين، اللتين ضربهما الزلزال.
وبحسب بيان الوزارة، تم إرسال نحو 135.500 وحدة من المواد الإغاثية مثل الخيام القطنية والأسرة القابلة للطي والألحفة والسخانات إلى المحافظتين المذكورتين لدعم الاحتياجات الأساسية للمتضررين من الزلزال، مضيفة أن العديد من الشركات تبرعت أيضًا. مواد إغاثية، منها أكثر من 150 ألف كيلوغرام من الخضار. أغذية طازجة، و11300 صندوق أغذية سريعة التحضير، و11000 صندوق خبز، و143000 وسادة تدفئة للمتضررين من الزلزال.
