دخلت شيرين عبد الوهاب المصحة لتلقي العلاج ورضخت لطلب شقيقها ووالدتها ، حيث ألحا بشدة لاقناعها بأن العلاج هو الوسيلة الوحيدة لإنقاذها من الأزمة التي تمر بها.
علاج شيرين جاء وسط مخاوف من سعى حسام حبيب لاخراجها من المستشفى والزج بها مرة أخرى نحو مصير مجهول.
قرار العلاج جاء أثر تعرض شيرين لوعكة صحية قاسية نتيجة سلسلة من الاحباطات والخلافات مع حسام حبيب أسفرت عن مشاجرة واصابات وبلاغ في القسم الا أن الخسارة الفادحة هى انهيار شيرين نفسيا والغائها لحفلاتها الخارجية وتوقف نشاطها الفني لأجل غير مسمى.
