قررت منظمة الأمم المتحدة اختيار رجل الأعمال أ. راضي المنهالي بوتميم سفيراً للنوايا الحسنة والسلام للعلاقات الدبلوماسية والدولية. جاء ذلك خلال الاجتماع الذي عقد بالعاصمة المصرية القاهرة.
وقالت المنظمة في بيانها حول حيثيات الاختيار: “يعود هذا الاختيار إلى نجاح منظمة الأمم المتحدة متعدد الأغراض في تقدير جهود الأعضاء المتطوعين الكبيرة وتفانيهم حول العالم، إضافة إلى تقديرها لموهبة رجل الأعمال أ. راضي المنهالي ودعمه لقضايا مجتمعه ولجهوده في التطوع من أجل السلام والاستقرار”.
وأضافت المنظمة أنه تم تعيين أ. الشيخ راضي المنهالي سفيراً للنوايا الحسنة والسلام للعلاقات الدبلوماسية والدولية للفترة من 8 أغسطس 2024 وحتى 31 ديسمبر 2025.
من جانبه، أعرب رجل الأعمال أن. الشيخ راضي المنهالي عن تقديره للمنظمة على اختياره كسفير للنوايا الحسنة في المملكة العربية السعودية، متمنياً من الله أن يوفقه لخدمة وطنه من خلال هذه المنظمة.
