الولايات المتحدة تدعو صربيا لسحب قواتها من حدود كوسوفو
دعت الولايات المتحدة السلطات الصربية إلى سحب قواتها المسلحة من حدود إقليم كوسوفو المفصول من جانب واحد منذ عام 2008.
وقال المتحدث باسم مجلس الأمن القومي الأميركي جون كيربي خلال مؤتمر صحافي الجمعة: «نشهد حشد قوة صربية كبيرة على طول الحدود مع كوسوفو، بما في ذلك وجود غير مسبوق للمدفعية والدبابات ووحدات المشاة الآلية الصربية».
وأضاف: “نحن نعتبر هذا تطورًا مزعزعًا للاستقرار للغاية”. وأشار إلى أن حشد القوات مستمر منذ أسبوع، مضيفا: “ندعو صربيا إلى سحب تلك القوات من الحدود”.
وأعرب كيربي عن قلقه إزاء تزايد التوترات وأعمال العنف المتفرقة في المنطقة، والتي كان أخطرها يوم 24 سبتمبر/أيلول الماضي، عندما قُتل 3 صرب وأحد أفراد شرطة كوسوفو. ودعا كيربي إلى إجراء تحقيق في الحادثة، دون تحميل أي جهة المسؤولية.
تجدر الإشارة إلى أنه عقب الحادث المذكور، اتهمت سلطات كوسوفو الصرب بمهاجمة الشرطيين في قرية بانسكا شمال الإقليم.
وفي رد فعلها على الحادث، رفضت السلطات الصربية الاتهامات الموجهة للصرب، واتهمت السلطات الألبانية في المنطقة بالاستفزاز. ووصف الرئيس الصربي ألكسندر فوتشيتش القتلى الصرب بأنهم “أبطال” و”شهداء”، مضيفا أنهم “ليسوا إرهابيين”، ودعا الصرب في كوسوفو إلى “حماية حقوقهم من خلال الوسائل السلمية”.
