قال الأمين العام للأمم المتحدة أنطونيو غوتيريش، إن السلام لا يمكن تحقيقه في الشرق الأوسط إلا من خلال المفاوضات التي تؤدي إلى حل الدولتين..
ودعا غوتيريش – بحسب موقع الأمم المتحدة اليوم – إلى بذل جهود دبلوماسية في الشرق الأوسط لوقف التصعيد، مؤكدا أنه “يجب احترام وحماية المدنيين وفقا للقانون الدولي الإنساني في جميع الأوقات”.“.
