ذكرى وفاة وديع الصافى.. عمل على إبراز هوية الأغنية اللبنانية منذ الصغر
تحل اليوم الأربعاء ذكرى وفاة المطرب الكبير الراحل “وديع الصافي” حيث توفي يوم 11 أكتوبر 2013 في أحد مستشفيات لبنان. ويعتبر الصافي من أشهر المطربين في لبنان، وقد عرف بالعديد من الألقاب أبرزها صوت الجبل.
ولد وديع الصافي في قرية نيحا الشوف في 1 تشرين الثاني 1921. ترك المدرسة بعد 3 سنوات من النزوح إلى لبنان، بسبب حبه الشديد للموسيقى من جهة، وللمساعدة من جهة أخرى. والده يدعم الأسرة..
كانت بدايته الفنية خلال العام 1938، عندما حصل على المركز الأول في اللحن والغناء والعزف، من بين 40 متنافساً في مسابقة للإذاعة اللبنانية، في أغنية “يا مرسل النغم الحنون”.“واختارت لجنة التقييم في السباق الإذاعي اللبناني اسماً فنياً لـ”وديع الصافي”، نظراً لنقاء صوته، وعملت على إبراز هوية الأغنية اللبنانية، وكانت البداية مع “طل الصباح”. “والطير يدق” عام 1940..
