ويقضي قانون المحلات العامة بعزل كل أو بعض المرافق عن المحلات المخالفة. وفي هذا الصدد نصت المادة (31) من القانون على أنه يجب على المركز المسؤول عن إصدار التراخيص أن يطلب من الجهات المشغلة للمنشآت قطع جميع أو بعض المرافق عن المحلات المخالفة.
ووفقاً للمادة (31)، تلتزم الجهات المشغلة للمرافق بتنفيذ ما يطلب منها في هذا الشأن، ولا يجوز لها إعادة توصيل المرافق لتلك المحلات إلا بعد الحصول على موافقة صريحة من المركز أو تنفيذاً لحكم قضائي، و ولا يخل ذلك بصلاحية المركز المختص في ضبط الأدوات واللوازم. والتي تستخدم كوسيلة بديلة لتشغيل المرافق المنقطعة وكيفية التصرف فيها وفقاً للإجراءات التي تحددها اللائحة التنفيذية لهذا القانون، بما لا يترتب عليه الإضرار بحقوق الغير حسن النية.
تجدر الإشارة إلى أن قانون المحلات العامة نص على أن الترخيص الصادر وفق أحكام هذا القانون يجب أن يكون غير محدد المدة إلا في الحالات التي تحددها اللجنة العليا للتراخيص، ويجب أن يتضمن الترخيص كافة البيانات المتعلقة بنوع النشاط. واسم المرخص له والمدير المسؤول إن وجد والمنطقة. التراخيص ومواعيد النشاط وغيرها من البيانات التي تحددها اللجنة. يجوز للمركز المختص منح تراخيص مؤقتة للمحلات التي يتم إنشاؤها بشكل عرضي أثناء المناسبات والأعياد والمعارض، وذلك وفقاً للشروط والأحكام التي يصدر بها قرار من اللجنة.
