أعلن الصندوق الدولي لدعم أوكرانيا عن حزمة تزيد قيمتها عن 100 مليون جنيه إسترليني للقوات المسلحة الأوكرانية، لتوفير دعم الصيانة والمناورة، وتعزيز القدرات الحيوية لإعادة تأهيل المركبات والمناورة في ساحة المعركة.
وبحسب بيان نشر على الموقع الرسمي للحكومة البريطانية، اليوم الخميس، فقد تم الإعلان عن الحزمة الجديدة خلال اجتماع مجموعة الاتصال الدفاعية الأوكرانية في بروكسل، ويتم تمويلها بمساهمات من المملكة المتحدة والنرويج وهولندا. والدنمارك والسويد وليتوانيا وأيسلندا.
وأوضح البيان أن الحزمة تشمل مسارات ومحركات للمركبات القتالية المدرعة، وجسوراً مؤقتة، وناقلات معدات ثقيلة لتحريك الدبابات القتالية الرئيسية، وقدرات اختراق حقول الألغام، ومعدات محمولة لإزالة الألغام لتمكين الجنود سيراً على الأقدام من عبور أجزاء من حقول الألغام، ومعدات مصانع لتطهير حقول الألغام. إزالة العوائق مثل الخنادق المضادة للدبابات.
