العفو الدولية تحقق فى استخدام الفسفور الأبيض من قبل إسرائيل على غزة
قالت منظمة العفو الدولية، اليوم الجمعة، إن الوحدات العسكرية الإسرائيلية التي تقصف غزة مجهزة بقذائف الفسفور الأبيض..
وقالت المنظمة، على حسابها على منصة “X”، إن “مختبرنا لأدلة الأزمات تحقق من أن الوحدات العسكرية الإسرائيلية التي تضرب غزة مجهزة بقذائف مدفعية من الفسفور الأبيض”.“.
وأضافت: “نحن نحقق فيما يبدو أنه استخدام للفسفور الأبيض في غزة، بما في ذلك في الغارة التي وقعت بالقرب من فندق شاطئي في المدينة”.“.
ولفتت المنظمة إلى أن “الفسفور الأبيض مادة حارقة تستخدم غالباً لإنشاء ستارة دخان كثيفة أو لتحديد الأهداف. يحترق عند درجات حرارة عالية جدًا عند تعرضه للهواء ويمكن أن يستمر في الاحتراق داخل اللحم. كما أنها تسبب آلاماً مروعة وإصابات غيرت مجرى الحياة، ولا يمكن إطفاؤها بالماء”.“.
وأضافت: “لذلك لا يجوز مطلقًا استخدام الفسفور الأبيض في المناطق المدنية. فغزة تعتبر من أكثر مناطق العالم كثافة سكانية”.“.
وتابعت: “بينما نواصل التحقيق عن كثب في هذه الحالات المزعجة للغاية، فإننا نحث إسرائيل على احترام القانون الإنساني الدولي في جميع الأوقات”.“.
