وصل قبل قليل جثمان الفنانة والناقدة الراحلة سهام عبد السلام إلى مسجد سيدة النفس للصلاة عليها ونقل جنازتها إلى مثواها الأخير بعد أن رحلت عن عالمنا صباح الثلاثاء.
سهام عبد السلام مترجمة وناقدة. حصلت على درجة البكالوريوس في مجال الطب والجراحة من كلية الطب جامعة عين شمس عام 1972، ودرجة الماجستير في مجال الأنثروبولوجيا من الجامعة الأمريكية بالقاهرة عام 1998. كما حصلت على العديد من الدبلومات للدراسات العليا في مجالات الترجمة والنقد الفني. شاركت في التمثيل في عدد من الأعمال.
بينما كتبت مسرحية «بدر البدور والدب المسحور» من إنتاج الفرقة القومية للأطفال، وإخراج باسم قناوي.
تصور المسرحية فكرة خوف الأطفال من المجهول وتجربة أي شيء جديد دون أسباب منطقية، وعدم منحهم الفرصة لاكتشاف العالم من حولهم، والتعلم من هذا الخطأ والقمع المستمر للطفل.
