أعلن مسئولو اتحاد كرة اليد، تعيين عاصم السعدني، رئيس المسابقات الاحترافية، مديرًا لبطولة كأس الأمم الإفريقية، التي تستضيفها مصر يناير المقبل، فيما يتولى محمد الأمين، رئيس الاتحاد، رئاسة اللجنة العليا المنظمة. للبطولة.
يشارك منتخب مصر لكرة اليد في بطولة الدوري الذهبي المقررة خلال الفترة من 3 إلى 8 يناير الجاري بالدنمارك، وذلك في إطار الاستعدادات لبطولة كأس الأمم الأفريقية التي تستضيفها مصر خلال الفترة من 18 إلى 28 من الشهر نفسه. .
ويتنافس المنتخب المصري لكرة اليد للرجال في هذه البطولة في 3 مباريات مع منتخبات الدنمارك والنرويج وهولندا.
ويخوض منتخب الفراعنة لكرة اليد معسكرا داخليا بداية من 23 أكتوبر المقبل، قبل السفر إلى ألمانيا للمشاركة في معسكر خارجي يتضمن مباراتين وديتين مع المنتخب الألماني خلال الفترة من 1 إلى 5 نوفمبر الجاري.
من ناحية أخرى، أعلن الاتحاد المصري لكرة اليد مؤخرا عبر صفحته الرسمية على موقع فيسبوك عن تعيين طارق محروس مديرا فنيا لمنتخب مصر للشباب مواليد 2004.
وجاء القرار نظرا للخبرة التي يتمتع بها المدرب مع هذه المرحلة العمرية، خاصة أنه سبق له قيادة منتخب مصر للشباب مواليد 1998، وحصل الفريق معهم على الميدالية البرونزية في بطولة العالم للشباب 2019 التي أقيمت بإسبانيا.
وآخر تجربة لطارق محروس كانت مع فريق النور السعودي، حيث قدم معهم مستوى مميزًا في دوري النخبة. كما شغل منصب المدير الفني للنادي الأهلي وحقق معهم عددًا من البطولات والألقاب قبل أن يرحل في صيف 2021.
