3 نواب أمريكيون يهود يدعون لوقف الأعمال العسكرية فى غزة لإدخال المساعدات
وأصدرت النائبة الأمريكية سوزان وايلد، التي تمثل وادي ليهاي في ولاية بنسلفانيا، بيانا دعت فيه إلى “وقف مؤقت للعمليات العسكرية في غزة” للسماح بوصول المساعدات الإنسانية إلى المنطقة.
وأعرب البيان، الذي أصدره وايلد بالاشتراك مع النائبتين سارة جاكوبس (ديمقراطية عن ولاية كاليفورنيا) والنائب جيمي راسكين (ديمقراطية عن ولاية ماريلاند)، وهما ثلاثة أعضاء يهود في الكونجرس، عن تعاطفهم مع الضحايا المدنيين.
وجاء في البيان: “كأعضاء يهود في الكونغرس، نحن ممتنون للجهود الناجحة التي بذلتها إدارة بايدن لتقديم المساعدات الإنسانية… ومن الواضح أن هذه المساعدات وحدها غير كافية. ولا يستطيع مليونا مدني في غزة البقاء على قيد الحياة دون الحصول على المياه والغذاء والدواء والوقود. “لا يمكن للموارد أن تصل إلى من يحتاجون إليها دون توقف مؤقت للعمليات العسكرية، لتمكين العاملين في المجال الإنساني من القيام بعملهم بأمان.”
وقالت وايلد إنها على اتصال متكرر مع 24 عضوا يهوديا من الديمقراطيين في مجلس النواب عبر سلسلة من الرسائل النصية.
