أعلن منسق الاتصالات الإستراتيجية في البيت الأبيض جون كيربي في مؤتمر صحفي
أنه سيتم فتح ممرين إنسانيين لمغادرة المدنيين مناطق القتال في شمال قطاع غزة عبر هدنة لمدة 4 ساعات يوميا هناك.
وأشار كيربي إلى أنه “يصل إلى قطاع غزة يوميا نحو مائة شاحنة (مساعدات إنسانية)، نحن بحاجة إلى المزيد. وينبغي أن نرى المزيد قريبا. نحن نستهدف وصولا مستمرا لما لا يقل عن 150 شاحنة يوميا”.
وأضاف: “بشأن الممرات الإنسانية التي ستسمح للناس بمغادرة مناطق الحرب في شمال غزة. لقد تم فتح الممر الأول من هذا القبيل لمدة أربع إلى خمس ساعات يوميا خلال الأيام القليلة الماضية، وقد سمح بالفعل لآلاف عديدة من الناس بالوصول إلى مناطق أكثر أمنا، وسيسمح الطريق الثاني على طول الطريق الساحلي لآلاف الأشخاص بالوصول إلى مناطق أكثر أمانا في جنوب قطاع غزة”.
ووفقا له ستعقد إسرائيل هدنا إنسانية يوميا لمدة أربع ساعات، وقال: “ستبدأ إسرائيل بتطبيق هدنة [إنسانية] في عدة مناطق في شمال غزة كل يوم، سيتم الإعلان عنها قبل ثلاث ساعات. وقد أخبرنا الإسرائيليون أنه خلال هذه الهدنة لن تكون هناك عمليات عسكرية في هذه المناطق، وستبدأ هذه الهدنة اعتبارا من اليوم 9 نوفمبر”.
وأشار منسق الاتصالات الإستراتيجية الأمريكي، إلى أنه “ستسمح هدنة الأربع ساعات بنقل المساعدات الإنسانية إلى تلك المنطقة المحلية خلال تلك الفترة الزمنية”، مضيفا: “قد توفر أيضا فرصة كافية لمساعدة الأشخاص في الابتعاد عن طريق الأذى”.
وأضاف: “إذا تمكنا في الواقع من تأمين إطلاق سراح الرهائن، وما زلنا نعمل على ذلك، فيمكن أن يوفر ذلك أيضا فرصة قصيرة الأمد لتأمين إطلاق سراح الرهائن”.
