المرشح الرئاسى فريد زهران يستقبل السفير الأسترالى
استقبل المرشح الرئاسي فريد زهران رئيس الحزب المصري الديمقراطي الاجتماعي وقيادة الحزب وفداً من السفارة الأسترالية برئاسة السفير الأسترالي أكسل إيبنهورست.
تم خلال اللقاء استعراض تطورات المشهد السياسي في مصر والمنطقة، والعلاقات الثنائية بين مصر وأستراليا، وإمكانات التعاون الاقتصادي في جذب الاستثمارات الأسترالية إلى مصر وزيادة حجمها.
وعلى مستوى القضية الفلسطينية أعرب فريد زهران وقيادة الحزب عن انزعاجهم الشديد من الموقف الغربي الرسمي وحالة الصمت الكبير إزاء ما يحدث في قطاع غزة من الاعتداءات الإسرائيلية الوحشية على المدنيين الفلسطينيين والتي لا تتوقف. ولا تستثني المستشفيات ودور العبادة، والاستمرار في ممارسات الإبادة الجماعية وسياسة العقاب. الجماعية الفاشية.
كما أكد فريد زهران وقيادات حزبه أن الاعتداءات الإسرائيلية تتكرر بين الحين والآخر نتيجة غياب حل الدولتين، ومنع قيام الدولة الفلسطينية، وسياسات الفصل العنصري ضد الفلسطينيين. والتي يستحيل معها بناء الاستقرار في المنطقة، لأن حركات المقاومة لن تتوقف ما لم يتحرك المجتمع الدولي لإيجاد الحل. التسوية العادلة للقضية الفلسطينية.
