يصادف اليوم السبت 18 نوفمبر ذكرى ميلاد النمر الأسود أحمد زكي، وعيد ميلاد النجمين أحمد حلمي ومنى زكي، وحرص الفنان الراحل أحمد زكي على حضور احتفالهما، حيث كان له حفل علاقة قوية بمنى زكي التي اعتبرته والدها الروحي وشاركت معه في أكثر من عمل فني.
روت منى زكي قصة الصورة التي جمعتها مع أحمد حلمي مع الراحل أحمد زكي في حفل زفافهما، مشيرة إلى أنه حضر حفل زفافهما مرتين، حيث ذهب إلى مكان الزفاف في اليوم السابق لإقامته عن طريق الخطأ، لكنه ولم يجد الفرح، وتابع خلال المقابلة: «عندما علمت بالأمر، كنت مستاءً للغاية». لأنني ظننت أن الفرح لن يأتي، وتأثرت كثيراً وكانت المفاجأة بالنسبة لي أن ثاني يوم من الفرح قد جاء وكنا نتخيله”.

وعن علاقتها به أشارت: “كان هناك حاجة كبيرة جدًا بالنسبة لي. لقد كان هو من عمل معي وجعلني ذا قيمة في المجتمع الفني”. كما ذكرت في حوار آخر أن دعمها للفن انكسر بوفاة النمر الأسود، لأنه آمن بها، كما شاركت معه في 3 أفلام سينمائية وهي أفلام: “اضحك الصورة تطلع حلوة، أيام السادات يا حليم”.
يذكر أن منى زكي تزوجت من الفنان أحمد حلمي، في مايو 2002، وأنجبت منه ثلاثة أبناء، وهم ليلي وسليم ويونس. ويعتبر زواجهما من أبرز الزيجات في الوسط الفني، إذ استمر حتى الآن 20 عاما، ورغم نجومية الثنائي إلا أنهما لم يلتقيا في عمل فني. إلا في أفلام «عمر 2000» و«لماذا جعلتني أحبك» و«سحر الليالي»، وكانت هذه أعمال قبل زواجهما..
