أعلنت السلطات البلجيكية تعرض 85 قبرا في مقبرة يهودية في مدينة شارلروا للتخريب، ورجحت أن يكون هذا الحادث نتيجة “سلوك معاد للسامية”.
وقال عمدة المدينة بول ماغنيت، الخميس، إن ما لا يقل عن 85 مدفناً في الساحة اليهودية بمقبرة “مارسينيل” في مدينة شارلروا، التي تقع على بعد بضعة كيلومترات فقط من الحدود الفرنسية، تعرضت لأضرار مؤخراً.
وكتب على صفحته على منصة “إكس”: “الموقع المختار.. لا يترك مجالا للشك في طبيعة النوايا المعادية للسامية”.
وأشارت السلطات البلجيكية إلى أن الساحة اليهودية في المقبرة فقط هي التي تضررت، “مما يدل على الطبيعة المعادية للسامية للتخريب”، بحسب العناصر الأولى للتحقيق، ولم يتم العثور على أي كتابات أو رسائل.
وقال أحد مسؤولي المقبرة، إن منفذي هذه العملية سرقوا نجمة داود المثبتة على القبور، مشيراً إلى أن الأضرار التي لحقت بالقبور كانت بسبب إزالة النجمة المذكورة.
