مايكروسوفت تدفع 76 مليون دولار لشراء مزرعة "قرع عسل" في ولاية ويسكونسن
قامت شركة مايكروسوفت بشراء مساحة من الأرض في ولاية ويسكونسن لإنشاء مقر جديد لمراكز البيانات التابعة لها. ولعل أحدث إضافة لعملاق التكنولوجيا هي حوالي 407 فدانًا، والتي اشترتها من عائلة كروزيجر في وقت سابق من هذا الشهر مقابل 76 مليون دولار تقريبًا.
وبحسب موقع “بيزنس إنسايدر”، فإن الأرض كانت تستخدمها عائلة كروزيجر للزراعة، وتضمنت مزرعة يقطين تسمى “أرض مزرعة العمالقة”.
