مايزيد على ثلاث عقود مرت على بدء تنفيذ مشروع الصرف الصحي بديروط بمحافظة أسيوط ولم يعمل حتى الآن.
أجيال عاصرت هذا المشروع رحل منهم الكثير وهم يحلمون بالإنتهاء منه ومشاهدته وهو يعمل . وبقيت أجيال تخاف أن ترحل قبل اكتماله.
من المسؤل عن تعطل تشغيل هذا المشروع القومي العملاق الذي سيخدم مركزاً يعد الأكبر من حيث المساحة وعدد السكان بمحافظة أسيوط.
منذ أربع سنواتٍ تقريباً بدأ العمل بمحور ديروط على النيل والذي قسم لثلاث مراحل ولم ينتهي حتى الآن على خلاف محور منفلوط الذي بدء منذ عامٍ تقريباً وتم تشغيله حالياً.
تساؤلات عديدة يطرحها أهالي ديروط عن الأسباب التي تؤدي إلى تأخر تنفيذ المشروعات بالمدينة أهمها من المسؤل عن ذلك؟
