الاحتلال الإسرائيلي يحول القدس لثكنة عسكرية لتسهيل مسيرات المستوطنين
حولت قوات الاحتلال الإسرائيلي، مساء الأربعاء، مدينة القدس إلى ثكنة عسكرية، تزامنا مع انطلاق مسيرات المستوطنين احتفالا بيوم العرش، التي تنظمها سنويا جماعات دينية متطرفة في مدينة القدس المحتلة بشكل استفزازي ضد المواطنين الفلسطينيين.
وأغلقت شرطة الاحتلال عددا من شوارع غرب وجنوب القدس لتسهيل حركة المستوطنين، وأعاقت حركة المواطنين بشكل كامل في مدينة القدس، بما فيها البلدة القديمة، التي ينتشر فيها المستوطنون بشكل ملحوظ.
ويتزامن ذلك مع اقتحامات غير مسبوقة للمسجد الأقصى المبارك، تجاوزت 5 ملايين مقتحم خلال الأسبوع الحالي وحده، فيما أشار تقرير صادر عن محافظة القدس إلى أن عدد المقتحمين إلى المسجد الأقصى منذ بداية العام الجاري تجاوز الأربعين ألفا. .
وشارك عشرات الآلاف من المستوطنين في أداء ما يسمى طقوس “بركة الكهنة” في ساحة حائط البراق منذ ساعات الصباح، فيما أجبرت قوات الاحتلال أصحاب المحلات التجارية المقدسية على إغلاق محلاتهم لتسهيل حركة المستوطنين.
وفي سياق متصل، جدد المستوطنون المتطرفون اعتداءاتهم والبصق ضد المسيحيين والحجاج المسيحيين في مدينة القدس المحتلة، وتحديداً في منطقة كنيسة سجن المسيح.
قال ماجد الرشق، حارس كنيسة سجن المسيح، إن ظاهرة استهداف المسيحيين تزايدت في الآونة الأخيرة من خلال البصق على الرهبان المؤمنين والسياح السائرين على درب الصليب.
