إيطاليا توقع اتفاقاً لاستقبال 4 آلاف عامل من تونس
وقعت إيطاليا، الجمعة، اتفاقا لاستقبال نحو 4000 عامل من تونس، تماشيا مع تعهداتها بمساعدة الدولة الواقعة في شمال إفريقيا على وقف ضغط المهاجرين على حدودها.
وقال مكتب وزير الخارجية أنطونيو الطياني إن توقيع الاتفاق جاء خلال زيارة الوزير إلى تونس حيث من المقرر أن يلتقي نظيره نبيل عمار والرئيس التونسي قيس سعيد.
وذكرت مذكرة إعلامية إيطالية أن الاتفاق يهدف إلى إنشاء قنوات هجرة نظامية لـ”العمال المؤهلين” الراغبين في القدوم إلى البلاد، كما وعدت روما بمساعدة تونس في جهودها لوقف مهربي المهاجرين وتوفير فرص عمل للشباب.
وذكرت الوثيقة الإيطالية أن “تونس تتعرض لضغوط هجرة قوية، خاصة من دول جنوب الصحراء الكبرى، وهي الدولة الأولى التي تستقبل العائدين من إيطاليا”، مضيفة أن 1615 مهاجرا عادوا إلى هناك منذ بداية العام.
وتضاعف عدد المهاجرين الذين يصلون إلى إيطاليا عن طريق البحر تقريبا في عام 2023 مقارنة بالفترة نفسها من عام 2022، حيث وصل نحو 140 ألف شخص إلى الشواطئ حتى الآن. وجاء نحو 91% منهم من تونس، مما دفع روما إلى بذل جهود لمساعدة السلطات المحلية على وقف التدفق.
وحث وزير الداخلية الإيطالي ماتيو بيانتيدوزي، الثلاثاء، الاتحاد الأوروبي على تفعيل اتفاق يدعم جهود تونس لوقف مغادرة قوارب المهاجرين.
