أعلنت وزارة الخارجية العراقية، أن المندوب الدائم لدى الوكالة الدولية للطاقة الذرية السفير بكر فتاح حسين، أودع وثيقة انضمام جمهورية العراق إلى اتفاقية الأمان النووي..
نقلت قناة السومرية نيوز العراقية، مساء اليوم الأربعاء، عن وزارة الخارجية العراقية في بيان، قولها، إن المندوب الدائم لدى الوكالة الدولية للطاقة الذرية السفير بكر فتاح حسين، أودع صك انضمام جمهورية العراق لاتفاقية السلامة النووية والاتفاقية المشتركة بشأن سلامة التخلص من الوقود المستهلك. ويتم التخلص الآمن من النفايات المشعة مع المدير العام للوكالة رافائيل غروسي بصفته وديع الاتفاقيتين المذكورتين أعلاه.“.
وأضافت: “رحب غروسي بإيداع جمهورية العراق وثائق الانضمام إلى الاتفاقيتين المذكورتين، قائلاً: إنها خطوة مهمة نحو عراق ديمقراطي جديد، وأتطلع إلى عودة العراق إلى وضعه الطبيعي”. الموقف الذي عرفناه على الساحة الدولية»، لافتاً إلى «دور الوكالة في مساعدة الدول الأعضاء في مختلف الأمور». البرامج والمشاريع المتعلقة بعملها“.
