منظمة الصحة العالمية: النظام الصحى فى غزة "مشلول"
قال المدير العام لمنظمة الصحة العالمية تيدروس أدهانوم غيبريسوس، الأربعاء، إن النظام الصحي في قطاع غزة يعاني من “الشلل” بعد أسابيع من العدوان الإسرائيلي على القطاع المحاصر.
وأضاف المدير العام للمنظمة خلال مؤتمر صحفي في جنيف أن 15 مستشفى فقط من أصل 36 في غزة لا تزال تعمل بكامل طاقتها، لكن هذه المستشفيات “مكتظة بالكامل”.
وأشار إلى أنه في شمال غزة، لا تزال ثلاثة مستشفيات فقط من أصل 25 تعمل، وتم تخفيض الرعاية هناك “إلى أدنى مستوى”.
وأوضح أن “تعليق العمليات العسكرية أتاح لمنظمة الصحة العالمية زيادة الإمدادات الطبية لغزة ونقل المرضى من مستشفى الشفاء، الأكبر في القطاع، إلى مستشفيات أخرى في الجنوب”.
وخلال الأيام الثلاثة الأولى من الهدنة، تلقت منظمة الصحة العالمية 121 شحنة من الإمدادات في مستودعاتها في غزة، بما في ذلك السوائل الوريدية، والأدوية، ومستلزمات المختبرات، ومستلزمات علاج الصدمات والجراحات.
وشدد المسؤول الأممي على أن “القلق الأكبر لمنظمة الصحة العالمية يظل دعم النظام الصحي في غزة والعاملين الصحيين حتى يتمكنوا من أداء عملهم”، واصفا النظام الصحي بأنه “معطل حقا”.
من جهته، قال ممثل منظمة الصحة العالمية في الأراضي الفلسطينية المحتلة ريتشارد بيبركورن: “نحن قلقون للغاية من ضعف ما أسميه النظام الصحي المشلول”.
وأوضح المسؤول أن مستشفيات غزة كان بها 3500 سرير قبل الحرب، لكن العدد انخفض إلى 1500 سرير فقط، وهناك حاجة إلى زيادة الطاقة الاستيعابية للأسرة بشكل فوري داخل المستشفيات التي لا تزال تعمل.
وقال بيبركورن: “نقدر أن هناك حاجة إلى 5000 سرير، لذلك أمامنا طريق طويل لنقطعه”.
وشدد على أن “أي استئناف للحرب يمكن أن يتسبب في أضرار للمرافق الصحية ويؤدي إلى تعطيل المزيد من المرافق الصحية. ولا تستطيع غزة على الإطلاق تحمل خسارة المزيد من أسرة المستشفيات”.
أما مدير الطوارئ في منظمة الصحة العالمية مايكل رايان، فأكد أنه “من المستحيل” أن تتمكن فرق الطوارئ الطبية الوافدة من تعويض القدرة المفقودة في النظام الصحي في غزة.
وأضاف رايان: “غداً، حتى لو أُعلن وقف الحرب، فسنواجه تحدياً هائلاً للغاية في مجال الصحة العامة وتقديم الخدمات الصحية”.
