بحث وزير التجارة الجزائري الطيب زيتوني، الجمعة، بالعاصمة الأوغندية كمبالا، مع وزير التجارة والصناعة والتعاون الأوغندي فرانسيس مويبيسا، سبل تعزيز التعاون الثنائي بين البلدين.
جاء ذلك خلال زيارته الرسمية إلى أوغندا، على رأس وفد مهم من رجال الأعمال الجزائريين، بحسب ما جاء في بيان لوزارة التجارة الجزائرية.
وأوضح البيان أن وزير التجارة الجزائري أكد التزام بلاده بتعزيز الشراكة الاقتصادية بين البلدين وتشجيع التبادلات التجارية والاستثمارات المشتركة في مختلف القطاعات تنفيذا لتوجيهات الرئيس الجزائري عبد المجيد تبون.
وأضاف أن تنظيم معرض للمنتجات الجزائرية بالعاصمة كمبالا وإنشاء مجلس أعمال للبلدين سيشكل فرصة مهمة لتوطيد العلاقات بين الجزائر وأوغندا والعمل المشترك نحو تحقيق الأهداف التي حددها زعيما البلدين. بلدان.
من جانبه أكد موبيسا أن بلاده ستعمل على توفير بيئة مناسبة للأعمال وتشجيع الاستثمارات الجزائرية في أوغندا، مضيفا أن أبواب السوق الأوغندية مفتوحة أمام التجار الجزائريين وأن بلاده تتطلع إلى حضور المنتجات الجزائرية بقوة هناك.
